What a great few days it’s been. I’m sad that the long weekend is coming to a close, as it’s always great to have Dave around for more than just the weekend. It’s easy to get stressed out about the holidays, with all the various obligations that come with it, but these past 4 days have been nothing but relaxing and low-key. I think it’s just what we needed.

I have a few posts to get to in the coming days, but I wanted to publicize a fun holiday gift swap that Stanley (my dog) and I are taking part in – our first! It’s the Kitty & Canine Holiday Blogger Gift Exchange hosted by the fantastic blogs KJPugs and Hannah Marie. If you know me, you know I love all things animal related, so I’m really excited that my first foray into blog exchanges are of the pet variety.
Sign-ups for the exchange end today (Sunday, November 25) so be sure to check it out if you’re interested. Hunting for adorable pet accessories is likely going to be more enjoyable for me than buying for the humans in my life. Speaking of pets, Dave, Stanley and I just finished up a 5 mile run around Watch Hill, Rhode Island. We finished at the beach just as the sun was setting – gorgeous! Pictures to come.
